Artist Synergy
What’s better than one artist? Well, two of course! And when those two collaborate to create products - magic happens. The ongoing synergy that exists between Dr. Gretna Wilkinson (Wayne’s Lights Candle Co.) and me has been so inspirational for us both. We are excited to finally launch our first set of four limited edition candles - my photography depicting her invigorating scents. There was a lot of nightly candle parties to immerse myself in the aromas of her samples. And we already have ideas for the next set of limited editions (perhaps in the Fall 2020) :-).
Our limited edition candles are: Jersey Breeze, Baja Cactus, Pink Sands, and Coconut Lime Verbena. We offer options to purchase only the candle, or the candle with various sized matching matted photos. Prices range from $8 - $20 and they come with beautiful packaging whether it’s being ordered for yourself or as a gift.
Additionally, 20% of the candle proceeds are being donated to support mental health and suicide prevention.

Wayne’s Lights Candle Co. is named for my son, Wayne. He was a loving son, world traveler, and a brilliant banker. He was super excited about the screenplays and documentary he was working on in Brazil and Finland—until bipolar disease ended his hopes and dreams.
To keep my sanity, I began dreaming of ways to make Wayne’s life count for a larger purpose. I started making candles with the best natural ingredients I could find; and I gave them away to family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues in my son’s honor. Soon, people were offering to pay me for the candles. And Wayne’s Lights Candle Co. was born.
